The effects of smoking on your lungs?
- Your lungs can be very badly affected by smoking. Coughs, colds, wheezing and asthma are just the start. Smoking can cause fatal diseases such as pneumonia, emphysema and lung cancer. Smoking causes 84% of deaths from lung cancer and 83% of deaths from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

In Social studies, we were learning about Harriet Tubman who saved a lot of black people being enslaved.

Science - The Blood vessels

We have learned a lot of things in Science for the past few weeks, we were learning about the Bones, the blood vessels and how do joints work, in this blog, I am working about on the blood vessels.

The Arteries take oxygenated blood away from the heart. They do not have any valves. Arteries appear red when viewed through the skin

 The Arteries takes de-oxygenated blood back to the heart. Valves keep the blood moving in the correct direction. Viens appear blue when they are close to the skin because of the refraction of light through the skin 

In between arteries and veins are the capillaries. They are very small, one-cell thick blood vessels. Because they are so thin, oxygen, nutrients and hormones can flow out of the blood and into the tissue, and waste material can flow in. Capillaries contain both oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood.

In Pe, we were doing athletics although my results are not that good I was happy with it.

Answer:

1. The advantage of the first-person narration is it's immediately Puts the reader inside the narrators head which allows to portraits of thought and emotions and it also has a disadvantage as you are writing entirely from one person's point of view, first-person can be very limiting.
2. So we won't get lost through the story.
3. I found the word 'Concentric' interesting and it means 
   of or denoting circles, arcs, or 
   other shapes which share the same centre, the larger often completely surrounding the smaller.
4. I think it would be interesting what will happen next, for instance, they call the place hell.

Metaphor and Simile

In English, we were given a task to work, and there is 6 task in total we need to finish at least one. 

What is a Metaphor
- When comparing things without using like and as.

- When two things compared using like and as.

Math Reflection

For the past few weeks, I've learnt that speed is not important in maths although sometimes it is. also, concentration is better than speed, it's not how fast you solve it's about how you solve and focus on it.

A recent news item that iterests me

The new Coronavirus was interesting to me, a Coronavirus is a group of RNA viruses that cause a variety of diseases in humans and other animals. There are 23,874 cases of Coronavirus worldwide and it reaches about 492 deaths, also many countries lockdown any flight especially from China, because preventing the virus is better than curring it, it could possibly take a year to cure the virus. Coronavirus started in a market on Wuhan China and the virus was originated from bats.

I was interested in it because it might get serious and also I feel sorry for the people that get infected by the virus and who lost there live's. The International Health Regulation declared a global emergency, surprisingly they found the cure for the virus and cured 876 patients so far.

Because of the news circulating through the internet, the community treated the Chinese people horribly and also the Chinese new year in China was cancelled temporarily. Instead of discriminating we should help them.

I think it means being good at Math and having a lot of great knowledge about Mathematics, and able to share some of you're knowledge to others. If the teacher is not good at mathematics he wouldn't able to teach math.
