Constraction

Contraction:
-When heated,particle expand.
-When cooled,particle contrast.

Equipment:                             
-Bunsen burner                       
-Tongs
-Ice cream container
-Can
-Safety glasses

Method:
1.Fill ice cream containe with Cold water
2.Place 50ml of water in the can
3.Set up bunsen + Mat

Aim:To observe contraction in gases
Hypothesis:I think the can will shrink quickly when we cool it very fast
Observation:We were heating the can and it started to boil  then we tip it on the cold water and it shrink
Explanation:When the can was heated the Particle in the can was moving fast
and then we tip it on cold water the particle stop moving and thats why the can shrink
